Bio

My name is JM Leotti, and I enjoy being a sculptor, miniaturist and painter. I work in polymer clay creating mostly fairy dolls and occasionally dollhouse dolls and miniatures. This is a relatively new medium for me. Until about four years ago, I worked mostly in acrylic and watercolor paints painting fantasy and fairy pictures. You can see my paintings at www.faeriemoondream.com. However, this web site is dedicated to my new passion, sculpting. My dolls have been featured in American Miniaturist Magazine (October 2006 issue), and have also appeared in Dollhouse Miniatures Magazine and Contemporary Doll Collector Magazine. Occasionally I write How To articles for American Miniaturist, and I'm a member of IGMA and NAME. I love sculpting dolls, as I am able to work with many different materials: clay, fabric, paint, silk flowers and jewelry findings. Many hours and lots of love go into each piece, and I hope you like viewing them and owning them as much as I enjoy creating them. Thanks so much for stopping by my web site!
