My New Painting, "Messenger"
In roared March with a snow storm that accumulated more than a foot of snow! If you follow my blog, you know I love snow, so for me, this was a blessing! The world outside my studio window is white and fairyland-like, and inside I'm creating, my favorite combination of natural forces!
I've finished my painting "Messenger" and I'm very pleased. The new method seems to be working for me. Just the right amount of transparency, just the right amount of detail. "Messenger" is for sale on eBay beginning a seven-day auction on March 1, 2009, so if you are interested, pop by and have a look.
I've been sketching a lot these days, getting ready for my next painting, but I've got too many images swimming in my head, and I'm so excited about all of them I don't know which to do first. I will reveal more as I sketch more and have something concrete to show you. You have probably noticed that not all of my ideas come to fruition, only the ones I feel most strongly about, so I've decided to stop telling you about images that I may never paint!
Today, though, I'm dedicating my time to a charity. I'm going to be donating hand-painted Christmas ornaments to a charity called Friends of the Bay. I will tell you more about this as the time draws near, and let you know how you can support this very worth while cause. I'll have a link set up when all is finished so you can visit their site.
As always, thanks so much for dropping by and may the Faeries Bless You!
