Happy Spring!

Spring's Ecstasy, by JM Leotti
Happy Spring, Happy Easter Everyone!

The cold weather continues here in the Northeast as we are a night’s passage away from celebrating Easter. I’ve just colored some eggs for tomorrow, and now I’m going to relax with a little dinner and a movie.

I didn’t paint much during March, only a couple of ACEOs which I sold on eBay. Fortunately, I’ve got a lot of ideas for upcoming paintings. I’ve started a small painting, fun and cute, so we’ll see how it turns out. The larger painting I kept talking about is still in the sketch stages, and is on a back burner for now. I’ve gotten some wholesale orders for my Faery Healers, so I’ve been working on those for the last few weeks. Also, I’ve donated my talents to a very worthy cause, Friends of the Bay. My hand painted ornaments will be sold there, and your monies will fund Friends of the Bay projects. Each ornament is hand-painted and depicts wildlife of the Northeast. I’ll let you know how you can purchase these ornaments in upcoming blogs as details unfold. For now, please visit the Friends of the Bay web site to read about this wonderful organization. Here is their mission statement and web address:

URL: Friends of the Bay Web Site

"For over 20 years it has been Friends of the Bay's mission to preserve, protect and restore the ecological integrity and productivity of the Oyster Bay/Cold Spring Harbor estuary and the surrounding watershed.”

As always, thanks for stopping by my web site!

Janîce
