"Dark Visions" was painted in watercolor and acrylic on 140 lb Arches watercolor paper. I love mixing the two mediums as it allows me to utilize the qualities of both types of pigments. I use hot pressed paper as I enjoy adding a lot of detail to my paintings, and the smooth surface gives me the freedom to do just that.
